DUE DILIGENCE
AUDIENCES + INFLUENCERS
We begin with understanding our client’s priorities among target audiences. We investigate
learning to date, bringing our own understanding of the audience. Supplementing
this information with in-the-field research, we will develop a full demographic and
psychographic profile of key audiences.
We will also develop a critical understanding of the markets that influence our key
targets. Who are the individuals, groups – public/private – that our audiences look to 4
for information, opinions and leadership? These influencers become another layer of
communications targets.
STRATEGIC PLANNING
Based on the Due Diligence and Audience + Influencer analysis, we begin to craft our
strategic approach for the next phase of communications.
Deliverable: The planning will include overarching objectives, strategies and tactics.
Timelines will be developed for each initiative, with thorough understanding of resources
required from both client and agency to fulfill.
messages & Material development
Based on the Due Diligence and Audience + Influencer analysis, we begin to craft our

Execution
Outreach and distribution of materials created in the prior phase begins. Returning to
our strategic plan, outreach will occur as planned and timed. Adjustments will be made as
necessary.
measurement + reporting
In the early stages of our working together, we will establish goals for the outreach
program, and document our strategic planning. During this Measurement + Reporting
phase, we will provide evaluation against those goals in a format that is meaningful
and easy to interpret. Adjustments to activities can be made based on ongoing results
reporting.
